JST CompactFlash Connectors, Ejectors, Card Frames, Card Headers and Adapters

J.S.T.'s unique design and stamping technology produces contacts with a low insertion force, but secure electrical contact and thus superior durability. The power and ground pins are longer than the signal pins on the header. This ensures that they mate first and thus protect the IC chips from static electricity while being mated. Both the receptacle and the header contacts are selectively gold plated on mating areas only.

Socket Both dual-row straddle type and single-row SMT type sockets are available. Single-row SMT type has three kinds, that is with off-set 0.2mm (.008"), 0.35mm (.014"), and 0.75mm (.030"). The SMT type sockets have grounding springs at the number 1 & number 26 circuits.

Card Frame For Type I Cards For the frame for the type I cards, ultrasonic welding method is applied, which is superior in strength, heat-resistance with shorter assembly time. Adapter For Type II Cards The adapter converts the CF type II card to PCMCIA type II card. The shutter mechanism with lock is applied to protect the pins. The adapter has springs to contact the grounding clip of the CF type II cards. Header For Type I Cards Available both in normal and reverse types, with stand off 0.00mm or 1.64mm (.065).

Ejectors For Type I Headers The assembly of the ejector mechanism to the mounted header is a simple one touch operation. Available in either right or left hand push buttons. Header For Type II Cards With stand off 0.00mm, both normal and reverse types are available. This header has a spring which serves as a solder/grounding clip integrated device. Ejector For Type II Headers The assembly of the ejector mechanism to the mounted header is a simple one-touch operation. The ejector for the reverse type header has a right hard push button, with one-point pushing mechanism, while the ejector for normal type header has a left hand button, with two-point pushing mechanism.
